Beehive Deep Body Box

Built by beekeepers, for beekeepers.

Our 9⅝" deep hive bodies are the same boxes we use in our own apiary at Honey by the Bay. As part of our small-scale woodworking operation, we occasionally produce more equipment than we need and make the extras available to fellow local beekeepers.

Each box is assembled using quality screws and exterior-grade, water-resistant glue to provide strength and durability season after season. Designed for long-term use, these hive bodies are built to withstand the demands of active beekeeping while maintaining solid joints and structural integrity.

The boxes are sold unpainted. We strongly recommend painting the exterior surfaces to protect the wood from the elements and extend the service life of the equipment. With proper maintenance, a well-built and well-painted hive body can provide many years of reliable use.
